Graduated in Medicine from ICBAS, University of Porto in 1984. Completed Pediatric Internship at H. St. António and later completed the Special Studies Cycle of Pediatric Nephrology at H. Maria Pia (1995-1996). Worked as a Hospital Assistant Graduated in the Pediatric Service of H. St. António, where she divided her clinical activity between the Pediatric Nephrology Consultation (which she created and developed) and the Pediatric Emergency Service. Part of the Pediatric Nephrology Pediatric Nephrology Unit of the Centro Materno Infantil do Norte / CHUP since 2010. Member of the Board of the Portuguese Pediatric Nephrology Society in 2008/2014 as a council’s secretary. Coordinator of the Pediatric External Consultation of CMIN / CHUP since 2016. Member of the European Society for Pediatric Nephrology since 1998, regularly participates in national and international scientific meetings, with presentations of communications and as invited speaker. Publications in national and international medical journals and book chapters, with special interest in the area of ​​congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract.
