Fernando Gerheim holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He is a professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and of the Graduates Programs in Stage Arts and in Visual Arts. Currently, he is a visiting researcher at the University of Barcelona, where he develops investigations for postdoctoral training. He published the fiction books "Inifinitómetros" (Sete Letras, 2017) and "Signofobia" (Ed. Multifoco, 2012) and the essay “Linguagens Inventadas – palavra imagem objeto: formas de contágio” (Invented languages - word image object: forms of contagion"), Ed Zahar, 2008.
