Sabrina Parracho Sant'Anna holds a PhD in Sociology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a professor at the Department of Social Sciences and the Graduate Program in Social Sciences at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. Currently, she is a visiting researcher at the University of Barcelona, where she develops investigations for postdoctoral training. She coordinates, along with Ligia Dabul and Maria Lucia Bueno, the Working Group on Sociology of Art of the Brazilian Society of Sociology. She is the author of Construindo a memória do futuro: uma análise da fundação do Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro (2011) and of other several articles published in periodicals.
