Inês Pinto is a consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist from Portugal.
Graduated in Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine of Porto University (FMUP) and specialized in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Hospital Dona Estefânia, Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Central. Graduated Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Doctorate (PhD) in FMUP and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon and the Catholic University Medical School, and the Institute of Applied Psychology (ISPA).
Inês is a certified Trainer of the Circle of Security International R model, aimed at clinical intervention with groups of parents, teachers, educators and mental health technicians based on Attachment Theory and Reflexive Functioning
In clinical practice, Inês currently works in the Public Health System focusing on Eating Behaviour Disorders, Perinatal Psychiatry and Early Childhood Support. She is supervisor of the Research Committee at the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health at Beatriz Angelo Hospital in Lisbon.
Member of the Portuguese Association of Psychoanalytic Couple and Family Psychotherapy – Poiesis, Inês is also a member of the international mental health advisory group of IADMS (International Association of Dance Medicine and Science).
