Sex Vs Gender

In this session, one of the most disputed struggles of the beginning of the new millennium, with significant impact in future generations, will be approached: Sex vs Gender. The rigid roles will be questioned and the risks will be measured, with a strong focus on mental health.

Gender issues, its identity and expression have been the subject of heated discussions worldwide. It is a topic of sexology in which biology, psychology/psychiatry and sociology meet to test the differences between body and mind, challenging sexuality dogmas. We aim that the present session raises questions, promoting debate, increasing empathy and sensitivity.
