Raul Melo

Raúl obtained his degree in Psychology in 1986 at the Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Lisboa. he has also a PhD in Educational Psychology at the Faculdade de Psicologia of Universidade de Lisboa.

Health Advisor of the Superior Technical Career in Healthcare - Clinical Psychology.

He's a member of the Staff of Ministério da Saúde, since June 1987, first at Centro das Taipas and later at the Serviço de Prevenção e Tratamento da Toxicodependência (SPTT), where he carried out clinical functions in both of them, in the field of treatment for drug addict. Lastly, since 2003 at the Instituto da Droga e  da Toxicodependência (IDT) where he has also been carrying out functions related to the field of prevention.

Currently working in the Divisão de Prevenção e Intervenção na Comunidade (DCIP) of the Serviço de Intervenção nos Comportamentos Aditivos e nas Dependências (SICAD).

Member of the Conselho Nacional de Coordenação de Estágios da Carreira dos Técnicos Superiores de Saúde - Clinical Psychology Branch.
