Francisco Sampaio is a nurse specialising in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing and has a PhD and Post-Doctorate in Nursing Sciences. He currently works as an Adjunct Professor at the Porto School of Nursing and as an Integrated Researcher at RISE-Health. He is also a member of the Northern Regional Coordination of Mental Health. Since 2024, he has been Action Chair of the COST Action ‘Climate Change Impacts on Mental Health in Europe’, supported by European funds through the COST Association.
