Adrian Oros
With an MA in Children’s Rights and with over 20 years working in child protection, Adrian Oros was involved in the reform process of the childcare system in Romania. As a trainer, he has delivered courses and educational materials focused on child rights, separation of children from their families, prevention of family separation and the development of independent living skills. He has been involved in significant projects contributing to the training of staff working directly with vulnerable children and young people. Adrian Oros also played an important role in designing parenting programs, health education, and financial education courses, all aimed at supporting disadvantaged families and youth.
As a member of the Board of Directors at Eurochild, Adrian advocates for policies and initiatives to protect children's rights at a European level. At the same time, he is also active in the advocacy work at national level, with participation to initiatives aimed to support and advocate for children’s rights and their participation in decision-making processes. In terms of child participation, Adrian Oros is among the coordinators of a children’s report which will be presented in Geneva, to the UN Committee for the Rights of the Child.
