Maria Carolina Neves

Maria Carolina Neves has a degree in Psychology from the University of Évora, a Master's degree in Health Psychology and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation from the University of Aveiro and is a PhD student in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. She is a non-doctoral member of the Psychology Centre at the University of Porto. She began her career in Psycho-Oncology in 2018 during her curricular internship, having already collaborated on research projects focussing on the reproductive concerns of young female breast cancer survivors and the adaptation of families to hereditary cancer. Her PhD project, Projeto Sem Medos, aims to explore the adaptation of dyads of adolescents and young adults with cancer and Portuguese carers to the disease.
