Presentation Guidelines

Presentation Guidelines

The decision regarding the type of presentation for the abstract is based on the average score assigned during the review process. After the review, you will receive an email informing you whether the work was accepted for presentation. The type of presentation can be checked in your personal area on the website.

You may present your poster and/or oral communication either in person or online. The scheduling within the program will be organized according to the registration type selected by the author designated as the presenter.

Only works presented in person will be considered for award purposes.

Posters

Formatting must follow these rules:

  • Template: It is mandatory to use the official conference template.
  • Font: Arial

All posters are to be presented online.
Posters must be submitted on the platform in PDF format, accompanied by a 3-minute presentation video.
All accepted posters will be "displayed" in a virtual room of the congress, accessible via login to all participants.
There is no specific presentation time in the online format. The presentation is made with the pre-recorded and submitted video and will remain available throughout the entire congress.
For those attending in person, there is an option to present in a room with a 3-minute presentation. This in-person presentation is optional, as all posters are included in the virtual room.

  • For in-person presentations, printing the poster is not required; you only need to upload the file to the platform. Presentation time will be 3 minutes, followed by 2 minutes of discussion.

Note: Each participant may present up to 3 works (including posters and oral communications).

Oral communications

Formatting must follow these rules:

  • Template: It is mandatory to use the official conference template.
  • Font: Arial
  • 7 minutes for presentation, followed by 3 minutes of discussion. Presentations must be prepared to strictly follow the allotted time to avoid delays in the schedule.
  • Presentations may be delivered in Portuguese, Spanish, or English.
  • Use of the official congress template is mandatory.
  • Maximum of 8 slides.
  • Presentation files must be uploaded to the platform under the "abstracts-files" tab in the personal area of the submitting author by January 27. Presentations sent by email will not be accepted.
  • For logistical reasons, Presenter View in PowerPoint (with notes) is not allowed. Authors should bring any notes they need (on paper, tablet, etc.).
  • After the congress, authors will be invited to submit their work for publication in the congress ebook. Submission is optional and subject to review.

Note: Each participant may present up to 3 works (including posters and oral communications).

Symposia

Symposium and project presentations should follow the guidelines mentioned above for oral communications, but with different time allocations:

  • Symposium duration: 60 minutes
  • Minimum number of presentations: 4, each by a different presenter.
  • Maximum: 6 presentations, always by different authors.
  • Use of the official congress template is mandatory.
    • A single author cannot deliver two presentations within the same symposium.

Projects

12 minutes for presentation, followed by 3 minutes of discussion.
Participants are asked to strictly respect the allotted time to avoid delays in the schedule.

Use of the official congress template is mandatory.
